Jesus washed his disciples feet, demonstrating the importance of service for His followers. We take seriously the call to love our neighbor – meaning all people – in the way we desire to be loved ourselves. While the follower of Jesus is called to be a servant in all they do, we specifically pay attention to opportunities to serve our neighbors, within our church, through short-term events and initiatives, and alongside our local and global partners.
We seek to follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance into partnership with like-minded indviduals, organizations, and churches. In discerning who we partner with financially and in service, we look for partners who desire the development of a mutual relationship, embody the humble service of Jesus, and are invested in equipping and empowering those they serve.
